What we do:
Little Brympton Renewable Energy Micro-Farm is based between Yeovil and Crewkerne.
This 2-acre farm combines a cow-field, a small woodland, ornamental flowers, vegetables, bees, ducks, and a farm shop, and is the workplace and home of Patch and Tasha Tucker, who farm the land with organic principles.
We offer a place to visit and learn agricultural and related activities to groups and individuals who want support and care along the way.
Our wide range of activities and learning opportunities are available to people with a learning disability and people with mental health needs and they include:
- milking and cheese making
- growing fruit, vegetables and salad
- ornamental gardening and cut flowers
- animal husbandry
- preserving and fermenting food
- willow basketry
- wild plant foraging
Our ethos is to use the land sustainably, combining traditional crafts with modern eco-technologies, to share skills and provide food for our farm-shop and family!
We are happy to arrange a visit and a cup of tea if you would like to know more and see the site.
